Safe with Hair Care Products

As I cleaning out my bathroom cupboard I came across several bottles of hair care products.

Seems like an easy problem of simply emptying on bottle into another?

Problem is the bacteria that has been growing in the older bottle of product. While products are pretty shelf stable bathrooms are rather
damp areas.

This became a noted problem when some companies began doing refills on bottles and people were bringing in used bottles, that were not free of the old bacteria and or product.

It is possible to reuse the bottles etc. but please make sure to thoroughly get rid of old product.

My method was let it soak in hot water, soap (Used dish soap) and bleach (kills germs).

I made sure all the bits were gone. This process took a bit to do to make sure all was out and bottle was clean, and dried, before refilling.
