Diana-Welvaert-whats-in-a-consultation-2025

What’s in a consultation?

As with any consultation you go in with ideas and or questions and the goal is to come out with answers and some sort of plan.

Now depending on what your particular goal is, you may not hear what you want but the reasons (speaking for myself) will be in you and your hair’s best interest.

So when should you do a consultation?

Preferably before the appointment. Sometimes there is not sufficient time to do all the things required to get our desired result in that particular time frame.

I love when clients come in with lots of questions and ideas so that we can examine them and look at what that would involve. So, that you can make an informed decision as to what you want to do going forward.

Some examples are: What products will be used to achieve the look you want. How long will this take?

Tricky questions are not always clear as to what the hair will let us do.

What do I mean by that? What has happened to your hair previously, could determine the amount of time, product used and time spent to get the end result. This often will bring up the cost of the service.

Bring pictures? Yes please! The more I know what’s on your mind for the look you are trying to achieve, the more I can clearly help you to decide the best course of action or sometimes even when you should not go there but instead take a different path.

Getting to know you and your dreams and desires is the best way to forge ahead. Then of course there is the hair on your head you bring in. We examine that and then combined with all the rest and come up with what is the best end result for you and your hair.
